In the video above, we were shooting a whiskey bottle, so we surrounded it with warm tones, wood and smoke.
Master the Art of Lighting:
Lighting is the backbone of exceptional product photography. Experiment with different lighting techniques such as natural light, artificial lighting setups, or a combination of both. Soft, diffused lighting can beautifully accentuate product details, while dramatic lighting can create an alluring mood. The product we shot was round and reflective, so we evenly lit the bottle with two Lume Cube Tube Light Minis on the left and right and one Tube Light XL overhead to light the table and props. Remember to pay attention to shadows, highlights, and reflections to add depth and dimension to your images.
Focus on Composition and Framing:
Composition is the art of arranging elements within a frame to create an aesthetically pleasing image. Utilize the rule of thirds, leading lines, and symmetry to guide the viewer's eye and create a balanced composition. In our shoot above, we used incense and atmosphere spray to fill negative space with a smokey vibe.
