The biggest differences between the two ring lights are the types of power sources and light output. The Cordless Ring Light Pro has a built-in lithium ion battery, whereas the 18" Ring Light is powered via AC and does not come with batteries. If you want to power the 18" Ring Light via a battery, you will need to purchase two external NP-750 batteries separately.

I received my light yesterday and immediately set it up and started photographing items to add to my website. The light was great and gave me the proper lighting that I needed to showcase my items without any problems. I love the ability to adjust the lighting from warm to cool and not have shadows. I'm so happy I decided to up my game by purchasing this light.

Honestly this light is amazing!!! I didn’t use the stand I actually bought a wall arm and attached the like to it and it’s so bright and gives even brightness which I need!!! I’ve gone through so many ring lights from Amazon to other brands and this is by far the best one I’ve bought so don’t think about getting it. Do it!
